Mickey Edwards, a former Republican Congressman and founding trustee of the Heritage Foundation, will join the Center for a discussion about the essence of conservatism in America. In his new book, 'Reclaiming Conservatism: How a Great American Political Movement Got Lost - And How It Can Find Its Way Back,' Edwards argues that conservatives have abandoned their founding principles of individual and civil liberties, and by doing so, threatened our constitutional system of government.
