Equally at home in the classical/romantic repertoire as in contemporary music, Christian Tetzlaff sets standards with his interpretations of the violin concertos of Beethoven, Brahms and Tchaikovsky as well as Berg, Ligeti, Schonberg and Shostakovich. In 1977 Alexander Lonquich won the First Prize for piano at the Casagrande Competition dedicated to Schubert. Since then he has been giving concerts in Japan, the US and in the main musical centers in Europe. They will present an all-Beethoven program.
