The 12th Annual juried Arts in the Park show is sponsored by the Friends of High School Park. Each year thousands of visitors enjoy a day-long celebration of high-quality arts and craft, entertainment, food and fun for the whole family in a lovely outdoor setting! Visitors love shopping for wide range of jewelry, ceramics, fiber and apparel, photography, Judaica and other orginal crafts and usually make a day of it. Rain date is Sunday, June 10.
The festival was created in 1996 to raise funds to transform the then site of the former Cheltenham High School that had fallen into disrepair. Friends of High School Park is a non-profit group whose mission is to work in cooperation with the township and residents to restore the parks native plant habitat and make the park a place of beauty and relaxation.
Arts in the Park is located at High School Park, at corners of Montgomery Ave and High School Road, one block from the Elkins Park railroad station.
